Bike score should always be walk score + something.
Bike scores should almost ALWAYS be higher than walk score (maybe there are some exceptional special cases where this not true). A bicyclist can travel much further than a pedestrian in the same amount of time.I have often been frustrate by low bike scores in areas which I know are quite convenient to bike. My current neighborhood is quite bike friendly. All basic necessities are within a mile or so.Many restaurants and coffee shops are also within the radius of one mile. Buses routed with bike racks are within 2 miles. I no longer have an auto of my own and do quite well. This should be the true bikeability and bike scores. I suspect "bike lanes" are being weighted too heavily and lead to an erroneous conclusion that one cannot get around in a neighborhood by bike!
